Disney is working hard to make a sequel to the 2014 blockbuster fairy tale, Maleficent.
According to Deadline, the studio has hired Linda Woolverton to pen the film with hopes of getting Angelina Jolie back to reprise the title role.
Joe Roth is back as the film’s producer as well and the hope is to repeat the widely successful results of the first movie which grossed nearly $760 million worldwide.
