Beyoncé has unveiled the music video for her latest single, I Was Here, on World Humanitarian Day, August 19, in order to pay homage to those who have lost their lives
working on humanitarian causes.
The music video, which is a live performance, was filmed August 10, 2012 at the United Nations General
Assembly.
Beyoncé appears in a white
gown before screens that show film footage of heroic efforts
to help others in terrible situations.
