Lea Michele & Christina Aguilera Sing At Super Bowl

The Super Bowl has always been the perfect excuse for some of the best performers to lend their voices to sing at the event. This year it included the performances of acts such as Glee actress Lea Michele, Christina Aguilera and The Black Eyed Peas.

However, this year, the ones who brought the most attention were the female acts who hit the stage to sing America The Beautiful (performed by Michele) and The Star-Spangled Banner (performed by Aguilera).

The Glee star took her twitter after her performance to describe the experience: "OMG THAT WAS AN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE!!!!! SO AMAZING!!! WHAT AN HONOR AND JOY!!!! (sic)"

Aguilera, on the other hand, issued a statement apoligizing for making a mistake with the lyrics when she opened the sporting event on Sunday night. She stated:  "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

On a personal note, we must say that even though Aguilera has some undeniable vocal talent, she came across as if she was trying too hard and was screaming instead of singing by the end of the song.

According to you, who did a better job? Tell me all about it in the comments!
